Are you considering mobile when building your site? Do you know that 80% of users look at your site on a mobile device? You should not only consider but build your website for the mobile first and the desktop second.
Many web developers are going away from the “hamburger” navigation on the mobile but add navigation to the bottom of the screen. Users don’t want to click through a tedious navigation but want to easily click from page to page.
More than that, users rather scroll through blocks of information than clicking through a site on their mobile. What does that mean for web developers? The most important information about your business needs to live on the home page. All auxiliary pages should host extra and more detailed content.
Web developers and designers need to build sites in blocks that distinguish each other as different topics. They need to build pages in a clean and modern design which perfectly fits the way users now take in content on a mobile responsive website. User don’t read any more. Use web icons, images and short paragraphs to get your point across. Be a minimalist.
